Step 1:
Pick a width and material for your
label:
The length of a label can be anywhere between
1/2" and 4" but the label width cannot be changed from the
stock sizes listed below. Follow the link below for a
visual demonstration of the difference between length and
width.
The colors shown are approximations.
Other material colors may be available. Please call
1-800-654-5210 for more information.
Step 2: Choose your ink color(s):
This chart indicates
which ink colors will be visible on the material
color you've chosen. It is up to you to decide how
attractive any given color combination might be and
whether it fits your needs. Please remember, the
colors shown are approximations.
Choose
a second ink color ONLY if you intend to have two colors
printed on your label.
Step 3:
Choose where you'd like a sew allowance:
This is where we'll leave extra room for you to sew your labels in without sewing over the printing.
Step 4:
Type the information that you want
on your label:
To see our list of font
styles, open the Style Sheet window.
If we don't have a font you're looking for give us a call at
1-800-654-5210 and we'll see if we can get it for you.
If you have the font you'd like to use you can email it to us. (Note: There is an
additional plate charge for more than four lines.)
To include your own artwork for logos or designs:
Attach your TIF, EPS, PDF or JPG (300dpi
or better only) file to an
email and send it to:
postman@sterlingtape.com.
Enter the name of the file you are sending in the comments section below
so we can match your artwork to your order.
Step 5: Choose how many labels you need:
Our labels are priced based on the
quantity, material and number of ink colors.

Step 6: Select the plate category for your label:
Plates are required for all new
labels.
A plate is a raised,
mirror image of your label that we use to stamp the ink onto
the label material. We keep your plate on file so the
next time you order (with no changes) you won't be charged for
another plate.
Step 7:
Enter your contact information:
In the fields below enter your
address and payment information. A shipping address is
only required if it is NOT the same as your billing address.
Because of the work we do to set up your proof, your credit card will be charged before we send your
proof.
